There is little in life, for a longboarder, that is as good as hitting that sublime high when you blow the crowd away by performing the perfect trick. Face it, even if you’re on your own when you pull off that complicated and highly dangerous stunt (probably best not to practise that in front of other people), you’re imagining a huge crowd going wild, cheering and screaming your name, right? Or maybe that’s just some of us…
Either way, you want a board that’s going to live up to your great expectations and deliver a responsive ride, and what better company to buy that board from than the well known and well respected Sector 9. Their boards are popular for a reason, and in an industry like longboard designing, that’s saying a lot – it’s a tight-knit group, and a poor product is going to be exposed rapidly without any compunction. Sector 9 longboards, on the other hand, which are reliable, built to last and suitable for almost any rider have understandably carved out an impressive reputation for themselves, garnering praise from pretty much any rider who has even a little experience with them.
Beginners have been particularly enamoured with them because of their incredibly wide range of models and designs, making them the ultimate in versatility. As a learner, you need something which can last you through all the spills you take and scuffs you inflict on it. That range can be intimidating through, so be prepared to take some advice. Intermediate users and certainly advanced riders will understand the necessity for sifting through the different models, for example if you do a lot of city riding so you need to be able to make sudden, tight movements check out the shorter boards.
Whatever your style, you’re bound to find your perfect board
